The master plan of the gauge has to be checkable by normative and OEM-specific inspection methods like
MSA. So the construction and production of the gauge has to be of high quality that it is possible to get a
repeatable and reproducible statement of the specimen-quality. For this purpose every gauge will be
tested according to VDA or QS9000.
It must be possible to reach efficient testing periods with the gauge. Especially the processes “inlaying”,
„removing“, „fixing“ and „inspection“ must be actable time-saving. Therefore every potential for
optimization concerning construction should be communicated to GEDIA by supplier. As a result
the construction- and building-process of gauges could become better step by step.
